8/1/6508 5th. April, who brought the Ministry's letter, was inclined at
Jar 76070.
first to doubt this Government's good faith in the matter of
his Company's applications.

With reference to the 3rd. paragraph
of my Despatch of the 5th. February, I may state that Sir C. P. Chater reports favourably regarding the deposits which he is working, and he hopes to find copper and molybdenum in pay- -ing quantities.
